Holiday Celebrations on the Emerald Coast

Category : Uncategorized

The holidays are in full swing along the Emerald Coast! Decorations, lights, and spirits are all lit up with Christmas joy! The radio stations are playing holiday tunes and everybody is humming right along. It’s easy to see why this is everyone’s favorite time of year.

Most people think of a white Christmas consisting of freshly fallen snow on the ground. Our crystal-clear turquoise waters and sugar-white sands offer a slightly different version of a white Christmas. There are plenty of activities to see and do around the Fort Walton Beach area. Ft. Walton Beach’s milder temperatures allow us to make the most of the beautiful scenery around us and continue to participate in outdoor activities, well into the winter months.

As we approach the peak of holiday season, we’ve put together a few ideas of holiday celebrations you may wish to attend:

12/6-12/20: Baytowne Wharf 12 Nights of Lights offering a festive light shows every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights through Christmas. Every Wednesday night features an amazing concert series. Also be sure to check out what’s going on each night at the Christmas Tree from 6 – 8 pm.
